That was fun! I’m going to go do French now! The next time I’ll be blogging it’s most likely that it’ll be after Sunday the 1st of February so I’ll be 15 years old! Woo, exciting .
I know it’s been a while since I last wrote… I have actually been busy . My dad and I came up with a new homeschooling plan so I’ve been keeping myself very occupied with that.
Apparently on Friday night the worst storms, since December 1999, hit south-west France, Spain and Italy with winds of more that 170KM per hour! Twenty one people died and 1.7 million were left without electricity at one point…
However as I awoke on Saturday morning from a sound sleep and heard the howling wind, the downfall of pouring rain and thrashing leaves on the unlucky trees my first thought was “Oh! Gizmo’s not going to want to go pee out THERE!”.
As we were drinking our usual morning coffee in my parents’ room the light flickered off but soon regained its energy. The whole day was spent making friendship bracelets with Venetia, listening to music and watching working TV… The bracelet Venetia made for me is AWESOME and sooo close to being finished . It Says “<3 BIANCA <3″. It actually has that stitched into it! Magic ^.^!
Later on during Saturday my mom found out about how bad the storms really were from her mom who’d phoned us and we were all baffled how we’d slept through it so well and then thought it was just a fluke Northern Ireland weather day in France … Honestly it didn’t seem THAT bad :/. Hee hee!
The REALLY great thing about living in France is that on Sunday morning as I flung open my French shutters, the sunlight blinded me . Yay! Blinding sunlight = No bad weather. It was a nice surprise! Even if it was clear to see around the garden now and it had many shattered branches strewn around the place and the grass was muddy from being… Ehem… A little over watered .
Venetia and I met up with some friends and hung around for a bit in the warmth of the sunshine… Then came home and were asked to fix the fencing (re-putting this green stuff up that keeps the garden more private) because we would still be in the “outdoor-sy mood”… We came home because it was getting cold!! Hee hee
Any who, without much complaint Venetia and I set off outside and began tying the fallen covers onto the fence again. It was alright for the first three but suddenly the temperature dropped and instead of going inside to grab a jacket I decided to just finish the job… but complain! I was suffering from MEMORY loss people! AND the Rudolph The Reindeer syndrome… A red nose :/. See I had climbed down off the wall to move closer to the other ones… As I reached the next wall I was quite confused as to how I’d gotten up and onto the wall in the first place :/…
It was too high up and I’d lost all of my energy… After a few minutes of standing numbly until Venetia yelled over the fence “Come onnn Bianca! Let’s just get this done!” I finally gripped onto the surface and pulled myself up, hastily fasted the ties and voila we were finished and welcomed with hot chocolate .
It wasn’t all that bad I was just cold and grumpy, hee hee.
My birthday is in five days! WOooOo HooOoooO! I can’t wait… Just the thought of it gets me so excited… Eeee . My dad is going to bake me a chocolate cake and all! My DAD! Heehee… See it’s always me who bakes so it was quite a shock when my dad said he’d bake it although Venetia is dying to do the icing for me… It shall be nice .
Venetia cannot be subtle, never expect surprises from her. She just has to blurt everything out and she seems to be more excited than me… A mysterious yellow parcel came in the post today. Venetia decided to hide it in the junk mail that she was bringing into the same room that I was in :/… To sneak it somewhere…? Even though it was blatantly sticking out… I don’t understand. Hee hee.
Ha ha ha, okay, so I just took a break from writing… to go find something sweet to munch on. However as I turned around from rummaging around in a cupboard I was given a heart attack by the creature moving around on top of one of the highest cupboards… Gadget >.>! I don’t have ANY idea how he got so high up! I called Venetia in an attempt to get some help to get him down… Venetia came in, giggled and then held out up her arms wiggling her fingers in a “come here” motion. We burst into a fit of laughter… Eventually Venetia brought him down to safety. Yay ^.^!
I’m going to leave it at that as I’m still in my pajamas and need to go shower now! Hoping to hear from you soon!
I like the contrast between the old grungy shed-like building and the gorgeously, flawless blue sky… And for some reason the squew lamp post in the background really makes the image. It was funny when Venetia took this picture of me because we were playing around in the football field getting random shots and Venetia said “Hey! What about up there?”… So of course I replied with an over enthusiastic “Yeaaah!!” and so the adventure truly began.
This does, indeed look high but behind it the hill slopes upwards… Still a bit much for one to simply climb onto though unless you’re a Parkour-Pro… Which I am not… Nor am I a monkey, no matter how many arguments Venetia makes stating that I am /: |. So as we were scoping around the petite building I noticed that someone had already had these exact same brain waves and had placed a large rock against the wall at the back…
I stood upon the stool of stone and saw that the roof was unbelievably dirty. Dilemma!! . I simply (but reluctantly) poked the charcoal coloured growth… I don’t know if it was some type of plant or mold… But it looked dirty nonetheless… It didn’t leave any marks though ^_^ and so I pulled myself up and onto the surface that was being suffocated by the unidentified darkness…
It really wasn’t all that interesting at the time… I was more worried about whether or not I’d get into trouble .
Okay, I’m going to leave it short today because I really should be learning about France’s history right now… Even if it’s not going to change anytime soon .
The day’s turned a little bit since when I woke up, it seemed that it was going to be a gorgeous, sun-filled day but sadly it’s turned out that that’s not the case for today >.< Dammit .
On Friday the sun was happy to be out and about, making the world seem like a much nicer place than it looks today… Gloominess -_-. And since Venetia and I hadn’t been out of the house very much that week despite the warm weather (mainly due to our laziness ) we decided to go for a long walk around the neighbourhood and went to the football pitch to fly our dad’s remote controlled helicopter. I just recorded the whole time and took a million point and shoot, unfocused photos . Focused photos! Ha, that’s fun to say ^_^.
Sorry, randomness! Once the battery died on the helicopter and since I had fallen down whilst jumping backwards and clicking the button to take a photo whilst doing so… I thought it would look cool (it didn’t ). And since I was holding the camera, as I toppled over my own feet and not being able to use my hand to save myself from falling onto the silently evil muddy grass… I ended up with a muddy back and backside… Joy -_-!
Anyway, we gladly went home and left the almost dead Gizmo and… also practically dead helicopter at home whilst Venetia and I went off in the search of fun things to take pictures of! Woo! Venetia has a very artistic eye for taking photos… Me on the otherhand… Ha ha! Don’t ask .

Yes… This took a very long time to take… It was mainly Venetia who had to do the work . First she had to hold me up so that I could grab onto the post… Then she had to run back to the camera and take a picture as fast as possible before my arms gave and up dropped me back down to earth . And you can see Gizmo’s backside… What a bonus!!
I tried climbing it... But I fell down -_-...
So instead… Venetia just took a normal picture of me… Oh what a poser I am ^_^.

Yay! Venetia can take pictures . As you can see the weather was awesome. Woo! Red hair! That was fun .
Anyway, over the weekend I didn’t do much but I saw some really sweet things. I just love how little children can be so nice to each other… Venetia and I were standing by the barriers of the ice-rink and I watched a little boy who was pushing this sledge/chair thing that helps little people learn to skate or just for the fun of pushing their friends around on it. So, this little boy about three or four years old was pushing another boy of the same age around on it. Suddenly he slid, fell down and whacked both of his knees on the ice. He cringed and the other little boy that was sitting down and being pushing around got up and helped the fallen one onto the seat and began pushing him around… I just couldn’t get over how nice they’d been to each other.
Before I’d seen that, however, I’d seen two other little ones. I was skating along when all of a sudden (the use of this phrase seemed to make the sentence seem that little bit more exciting than it actually was and I don’t even think that it worked 0.O) I spotted this tiny black glove on the pale-white of the ice but before I got there to lift it, I also noticed this little boy crawling (hee hee) across the ice at a great pace to get to the fallen handwarmer. Once it was safely in his grasp he stood up and started shakily walk-skating back to a little girl that he’d been pushing around on the pushy-thing… When he got there he passed the glove onto her, she smiled and put it on her empty hand… It was just so nice to see ^_^. It was coo-ing galore from me .
Aww! And then, on the same day there was a couple but… in miniature! They looked like they were about six years old and the whole time they just kept uncertainly skating whilst holding eachothers hand… Cute! On my third birthday, whilst we were still living in Zimbabwe, I recieved my first ever kiss from a boy on my cheek ^_^… And then he blew out MY candles on MY birthday cake and slobbered whilst doing so… NOT a good thing to do >.< </3. Hee hee!
On Sunday the South African younster was there again but this time he’d brought his little nine year old brother with him. It all started when I said something to Venetia who was skating a little while back from me when suddenly this little blond boy said “What?!” and turned to look confused at me… Without a breaths pause he said “Do you speak English?”. We got talking and found out who he was. Most of the day was spent speaking with him about the difference of people in Europe and about learning a new language… Expat talk .
Anyway, the funniest thing happened. After a while of talking, this other person came over and started speaking in French. Afterwards he turned to me and just burst out into Frenglish/Franglais (English but with French words sometimes )… but the thing was that he had the IDENTICAL accent to the nine year old South African in English… So funny! You could easily see who had been teaching him . He even used English phrases like someone from South Africa!! My jaw just dropped whilst my eyes popped out of my head… Like a cartoon! Funny .
Anyway, I’m going to leave it at that since this is much longer than usual. Hoping to hear from you guys soon! And if you ever want to learn how to bake banana bread… I made an extrememly amateur stop motion .
I saw this little guy on the internet and just had to give it a shot at drawing him myself . I only photographed it with my mobile phone, instead of scanning it because I have my very own laptop now … And the scanner isn’t connected to it… So the quality isn’t so great.
Anyway finally after a very long, very frustrating “practically” half hour, I had finally managed to upload it onto my computer… After having a heart attack because once I’d plugged my mobile into the USB port… It just started downloading all of these new files and telling me to insert disks and whatnot… I didn’t and after allowing the “wizard” to download a bunch of junk and still not being able to access my images or in fact, anything! Finally I glanced down at my mobile and realised that I had to change it to allow me to get into the memory card… Blonde moment… And my hair isn’t even really very blonde -_-.
I would like to bake banana bread today but the only problem is that I would also like to create a stop motion of it baking itself and mixing itself… You know the usual . But the only thing is that I don’t REALLY want to have to spend THAT much time on it… But if I do… It’ll be most of my audio visual done for the week… Choices!
Here’s another picture! I drew him yesterday and had set myself a time limit of 45 minutes, so I’m pretty impressed, considering . Aww, cute! ^_^

I’m sorry that I haven’t written in a while! Right now it’s actually killing my left fingertips to type this… Why? You may ask… I’ve been playing my acoustic guitar for the past hour and a half without pausing for more than a couple of minutes… Now they’re all red and sore looking… /: |… Frustrating though because I actually wanted to continue playing >.<. Oh well!
Before the pain set in I was determined to learn “Metro Station – Kelsey”, to be able to sing and play… My brain doesn’t seem to want to work with two things… It’s one or the other, either singing or the guitar… By the end of my time spent with my music though I was able to keep my mind concentrated for long enough! I’m getting there ^_^. Recently I’ve absolutely fallen in love with the band and their voices *Drools*! Heehee…
Anyway! The “icing powder” snow was a good thick amount by the time the sun had been swallowed up by the deathly hush of night… So we just ended up making snow angels in the dark ^_^… We were absolutely frozen by the end of it but it was sooo worth it =D. The next morning the snow was still there so Venetia and I made snow hats and threw fluffliness at eachother… Oh the fun! But then I had an asthma attack .
I had a REALLY bad one on Saturday actually o.O I’m such a dork ! Venetia and I were walking to the football pitch a little bit from our house to fly our dad’s remote-controlled helicopter … I was recording myself so I actually have the beginning of the attack on tape… Doubt it’ll make an exciting vlog though so you shall never see it ^_^ … Also I pull the most outrageous faces whilst gasping for the much needed oxygen… I never knew that I did that until I watched the recording back >.< .
Saturday wasn’t a whole bundle of fun… I made a V-log about it just to prove a point . Venetia had a freaky premonition and it came true … You’ll have to watch the vlog to find out what the heck I’m going on about . Anyway I haven’t got any news /: |. I’ve been awake and working since 7:50AM… -_-… Now I would appreciate just being able to vege in front of Disney Channel!

Today the fridge arrived! Hooray! We had chosen it out on Friday… I think it was Friday anyway. Anyway, it was necessary to get another because our refrigerator’s door had partially broken… The one piece of metal had given in and the only store that could replace it, was one which charged about as much at it would be to buy a whole new fridge… It’s a piece of metal people!!! /: |

Anywho! Through the whole day today the snow has been slowly drifting down from the dark, gloomy looking world above. It didn’t set though until rather late tonight when finally a light dusting finally decided it was comfortable to not melt away ^_^. It made me crave cake though because Venetia had to go ahead and say “Mmm, looks like icing powder!”. Damn it -_-.
My sister had grown some “Cat Herb” for Gadget, well it was still growing. Venetia had happened to let the wild eyes of our kitty cat see it though and earlier today I found the grass-y stuff all in the sink that my sister had put it above… Yep, Gadget’s been rather quiet since .
Leaving it short today. Will make a vlog tomorrow unless I’m overloaded with having to do other things, highly doubt that though .
So on Saturday, when we were driving home after ice-skating, we took the usual, fastest route… To be stopped abruptly by a grotest amount of ambulances and police cars on one of the corners. We didn’t get to see anything exciting… but it was quite a spectacle with the brightly coloured flashing lights and booming sirens… Apparently it was an accident between two cars… As one of our friends said. But I haven’t been able to find any information about it on the internet despite my attempts at constructing a search engine friendly string of french words . Aww well.
The only road accident that I’ve really seen that was bad was when a guy had been hit by a car whilst crossing a small village road in France. It was terrible /: |… Oh and at the ice-rink on Sunday there was a girl who had done… something to her hand and blood was everywhere! That was just plain gross … She wasn’t even crying or squealing or anything but had to be taken away in an ambulance none the less.
I have to draw more art-sy stuff sometime soon… Since my room now has drawings up since 2007! So need to update a bit … 2009 sounds funny ^_^.
One of my new favouite flowers are carnations, they’re just so perfectly delicate and soft… Aww! ^_^ I found out about my new love for them because my dad bought me a bouquet =]. The first bouquet I’ve ever been bought actually . My favourite flower had been an orchid because of it’s unique look and the fact that it’s silently dangerous … But when I had them as a plant I failed to keep them alive… Pot plants really aren’t my thing… I used to have a little FOREST of cacti but soon enough they all dried out… They don’t even do that in the DESERT!
I’ve been able to keep two bamboo things going though! You don’t need to put them in earth… or even reguarily water them… As far as I’m concerned anyway … I’ve just left them in two long black and red vases filled with water /: |. And they still look healthy… So I’m happy ^_^.
I’m different with my animals though, of course!
Oh yes, so on Saturday because we were forced to take a detour, we decided to stop in at the video store since it was on the way to our house anyway. We got out an extremely sad movie, well the filming was absolutely incredible and during the first 20 to 30 minutes the whole time all I could do was coo . It was just so cute!! Then the rest of the film forced you into tears (And I NEVER cry whilst watching a movie!)… Until the end! I recommend it… even if I did want to stop watching half way through… But glad that I didn’t =]. The movie’s called “Two Brothers” about two little tigers…
It may have affected me more because my favourite animal is the tiger since I was three years old when I chose “Tiger Too” (The name originating for “Tigger Too” but just that one letter more original ) out of the two teddies my mom and dad had bought Venetia and I on the plane flying over from Zimbabwe to Ireland. Oh and yes… He is quite worn /: |… His eyes are bashed up a little bit because when I was little I would play a game where I’d throw him up into the air and he’d usually whack himself on the ceiling -_-… I’m not sure why his face is so squonky though /: |.

In 27 days I’ll be turning 15 years old… I can’t believe it. Half way to 30! Five years away from being twenty o.O… That’s insane! I’m looking forward to it though – Shop Aholic .
Anyway, I finally got around to adding a new vlog to my tiny collection today… The reason that I hadn’t was that the damn camcorder program didn’t want to work for me… And so I ended up getting too frustrated and giving up… UNTIL… I tried it on my mom’s laptop! It works on here =]. Yay!
I haven’t got much news… It was a quiet New Year’s unlike our very last one in Ireland. We didn’t know it would be our last Irish one… The first one in our mother of a house in the country side. We had a HUGE family party… It was so much fun hanging out with my cousins and rolling about on the carpet dying of laughter .
Nice last memory of being in Ireland =]. On the 1st of March it’ll have been two whole years since we left… Weird O.o. And since then all that I’ve done has been ice-skating , so no news. Haha! I just read over that… I mean since New Years I haven’t done anything but ice-skating… Not since two years ago .
I’m not going to ramble on too much, so will write a post once I actually HAVE news . Oh yes, Venetia reminded me that I hadn’t put any images up of our snowman, so here’s the only one on this computer at the moment, will get some more on soon ^_^.
